Michele Roncada is a sustainable brand that was born in Verona in 2016, is based on the recycling, with research and recovery of vintage fabrics, of unconventional fabrics in the world of clothing until today. The mission of the brand, from beginning of the project, is only one: to bring back to life these materials otherwise destined for a certain end. Fabrics, but also paper, cardboard and wood, with the recovery of the tags subsequently decorated by hand. With the transformation of bottle holder packages into an exciting and unique fully recycled packaging.
Recovered fabrics are evaluated on the basis of conditions and quality. Then the aesthetics are evaluated, so only the most beautiful fabrics are chosen that reflect the brand‘s criteria. The discarded fabrics are sorted by color and pattern, waiting to become protagonists in a patchwork work, shirts able to bring together small scraps of fabric, using all the material and reducing the impact on the environment to zero. Each fabric is washed and sanitized before processing.
The final creation is the result of all the processes of rebirth of the fabric, which can now write a new story, telling the one behind it. Manual processing, attention to detail and attention to the origin. Each shirt has a name and a soul, it is inspired by a place, an object, an architecture, a historical period. Each work of art on fabric is expressed through color, patterns and details, becoming part of our personality. Each shirt is a unique piece, there is only one and it is the exclusive property of the buyer. No one will ever have the same shirt.
